For my Speed Demons, Drift Kings and Road Hogs... Start your engines, we're doing it with a Need For Speed...
The NFS Windows 7 Theme and the Hot Pursuit visual style for windows 7 that every racer enthusiast will love.
Hot Pursuit: As you might have seen this theme is based on the main aspect of NFS, cops against the racers. Designed to bring that hot pursuit tone to your desktop.
This theme will change the way your desktop looks. Right from the carbon explorer windows, NFS start orb, the police icons and an orange cursor set. Here are some images to show you what your desktop will soon look like.
This one also comes courtesy of Theme Raider...
These are the files you will need:
- Dark Agility Visual Style
- NFSHPThemeRaider.themepack
- NFSStartOrb.bmp
- UxStyle (for Windows 7 32 bit)
- UxStyle (for Windows 7 64 bit)
- Windows Start Orb Changer
STEPS
1. To use any 3rd party visual style, your system must be patched first. This needs to be done only once. So if you are already have some visual styles running in your system, skip this step. If not, run the 'UxStyle' file you downloaded and complete the setup.
2. Open the 'Dark_Agility' rar file you downloaded and extract the contents of the 'Theme' folder (Dark Agility folder and Dark Agility.theme file) in the following path: "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes". Do not run the file!
3. Now extract the 'Fonts' folder to the desktop. Select all the fonts within the folder, right click and select Install.
4. Right click the 'Windows Start Orb Changer' program you downloaded and choose 'Run as Administrator' and choose change orb option. Select the 'NFSStartOrb.bmp' image you downloaded.
5. Run the 'NFSHPThemeRaider.themepack' file that you downloaded.
That's it. A custom made NFS desktop made by yourself. Rev your engine!
Props to Djabytown for making the cool Dark Agility visual style.
Reset to default: Choosing the Windows 7 Aero theme will set everything back to default. Icons, start icon, visual style and everything else. But to reset the start orb to default you should run the Start Orb Changer and choose the restore option.
ARE YOU FAST ENOUGH?
