To celebrate the upcoming EVO 2015 fighting game tournament, Sony has launched a sale featuring fighting games discounted up to 60 percent across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

PlayStation 4 features a number of recent fighting game releases, including discounts on Mortal Kombat X, WWE 2K15, Towerfall Ascension, and Guilty Gear Xrd Sign. The bulk of the discounts can be found on PlayStation 3, including sales on Ultra Street Fighter IV, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma, and Darkstalkers Resurrection.

Sales on PlayStation Vita include several Street Fighter Alpha games, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter x Tekken, among others.

Other brawlers featured in the sale include
Towerfall Ascension for PlayStation 4
Soulcalibur 5, Mortal Kombat and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle for PS3; and Power Stone Collection, Street Fighter Alpha 1-3 and Blazblue
Chrono Phantasma for PS Vita. Those games, and many more, are being sold for up to 60 percent off their original price. PlayStation Plus subscribers can save even more on most titles.

Sony's "Knockout Sale" also extends to a long list of movies — most of which focus on the martial arts — available for sale on the PlayStation Store. Highlights include The Raid 2, Fight Club, Foxcatcher, Ninja Assassin, Machete, Mortal Kombat and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Lowlights include video game movie adaptations Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-li and Mortal Kombat Annihilation.

Those games, and many more, are being sold for up to 60 percent off their original price. PlayStation Plus subscribers can save even more on most titles.

PlayStation Plus members will save an additional amount up to 75 percent on select titles. This sale can be accessed via the PlayStation Store and will end on Monday, July 20. Visit the PlayStaiton Blog for a full list of the items on sale.

EVO 2015 will take place July 17-19 and will include Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in its lineup.
