Now you can run Windows 10 on a Mac for free
Apple users with a closet love for Windows 10 can finally see their dreams come true following the latest release of Parallels Desktop for Mac.

Apple makes iTunes more kid-friendly with 'Pay Once and Play' games

No one likes having to buy carrots/coins/crystals just to progress in a mobile game. Thankfully, a new "Pay Once and Play" section has appeared in iTunes that lets you discover/buy games you can be sure won't hold you hostage with such in-app purchases. Kids racking up a huge bill on their parents' credit cards is a storied theme (something that has already caused Apple and others headaches), a problem that this new section should go some way to alleviate. As the name suggests, none of these games are actually free -- but at least you know the costs upfront. It appears Apple might be making other changes to the games section of iTunes, too. Developers are reporting that artwork and icons for their app that was previously passed as ok, is now being rejected for containing images deemed unsuitable for the very young (guns and gore etc.). Important to note, game content isn't affected, just the materials that promote it. It seems like Cook and co are making iTunes games a bit more family friendly.

Scientists will try to reawaken Rosetta’s lander as Comet 67P approaches the Sun

The Rosetta mission to comet 67P has been a tremendous success, but the mission was marred by the unexpected demise of the lander, Philae. Philae is believed to have bounced when it first made contact with the comet, and its resulting slow tumble and descent over the icy surface left it stuck in a deeply shadowed area, partly obscured by a cliff. After exhausting its battery power, the lander powered off, only a few days after landing.

WhatsApp web: messaging client finally available on internet browsers
Popular smartphone messaging service WhatsApp has been made available on web browsers for the first time.
Jan Koum, the firm’s CEO, made the announcement on his Facebook page.
"Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device - this means all of your messages still live on your phone," he wrote.
Smartphone users who wish to connect to the client using their web browser must go to https://web.whatsapp.com.
