Samsung’s Galaxy S6 hard to build and extremely expensive, report says
High Cost
Earlier this week, an image leaked from T-Mobile of the upcoming Galaxy S6 with a curved screen. As shown above, the leaked “Six Appeal” shows a modestly curved screen and a device that looks broadly similar to previous Samsung Galaxy products. A new leak suggests that the Galaxy S6’s edged screen is difficult to manufacture — and that the device will be far more expensive than previous models.

Intel confirms Skylake upgrade for Core M later this year

Intel’s ultra low-power Core M has been available on the market since the back half of 2014. As the first Broadwell chip, Core M had the twin tasks of improving Intel’s performance in the lowest power segments while simultaneously allowing it to push into smaller form factors and tighter thermal envelopes. The chip achieved both of these goals to some extent, but OEM design decisions have sapped some of the potential out of the CPU. Intel is apparently going to keep pushing the ultramobile form factor front and center — at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet conference this week, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich told analysts that the company would launch Core M on Skylake later this year.

Next iteration of Windows 10 coming out within weeks
Will it be this month?
Microsoft is almost ready to pull the latest Windows 10 PC build out of the oven for its eager user base as it builds on the current 9926 build.
Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program that includes Windows 10, answered a tweet asking about when the next PC build of Windows 10 will be on the way and explained that, though a new PC build won't arrive in the next seven days, "another WU update" is on the way this week.
He then reiterated that the next PC build of Windows 10 will hit machines "faster than the time between 9879 and 9926", which was around two months, and there are still some optimistic folks that think a new build is on the way this month.
Expect Windows 10 PCs in September
Microsoft released the Windows Phone 10 Technical Preview last week and having it available on all platforms is key to its strategy going forwards.
In terms of when Windows 10 will be baked into new PCs for the first time, it's expected its release to manufacturers will happen at some point in June to be ready for new customers purchasing machines in the busy back to school period in August.

Now you can run Windows 10 on a Mac for free
Apple users with a closet love for Windows 10 can finally see their dreams come true following the latest release of Parallels Desktop for Mac.
Parallels Desktop 10 lets Mac owners choose the Windows 10 Technical Preview as one of the options alongside the regular Windows .iso files, Chrome OS and Ubuntu.

Apple makes iTunes more kid-friendly with 'Pay Once and Play' games

No one likes having to buy carrots/coins/crystals just to progress in a mobile game. Thankfully, a new "Pay Once and Play" section has appeared in iTunes that lets you discover/buy games you can be sure won't hold you hostage with such in-app purchases. Kids racking up a huge bill on their parents' credit cards is a storied theme (something that has already caused Apple and others headaches), a problem that this new section should go some way to alleviate. As the name suggests, none of these games are actually free -- but at least you know the costs upfront. It appears Apple might be making other changes to the games section of iTunes, too. Developers are reporting that artwork and icons for their app that was previously passed as ok, is now being rejected for containing images deemed unsuitable for the very young (guns and gore etc.). Important to note, game content isn't affected, just the materials that promote it. It seems like Cook and co are making iTunes games a bit more family friendly.

Scientists will try to reawaken Rosetta’s lander as Comet 67P approaches the Sun
Can they do it?
The Rosetta mission to comet 67P has been a tremendous success, but the mission was marred by the unexpected demise of the lander, Philae. Philae is believed to have bounced when it first made contact with the comet, and its resulting slow tumble and descent over the icy surface left it stuck in a deeply shadowed area, partly obscured by a cliff. After exhausting its battery power, the lander powered off, only a few days after landing.

WhatsApp web: messaging client finally available on internet browsers
Popular smartphone messaging service WhatsApp has been made available on web browsers for the first time.
Jan Koum, the firm’s CEO, made the announcement on his Facebook page.
"Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device - this means all of your messages still live on your phone," he wrote.
Smartphone users who wish to connect to the client using their web browser must go to https://web.whatsapp.com.
